Role Description

The PostgreSQL Developer will be responsible for developing database solutions, designing and optimizing SQL queries, managing database performance and scalability, ensuring data integrity and security, collaborating with development teams, and maintaining database documentation. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PostgreSQL development and database design
• Expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries
• Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
• Knowledge of data integrity, security best practices, and backup strategies
• Ability to collaborate with development teams and understand application requirements
• Excellent problem-solving skills and detail-oriented mindset
• Experience with other database systems and knowledge of PostgreSQL extensions is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
