Job Title: IT Support Engineer – Fresher
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Engineer (Fresher) to provide basic technical support for hardware, software, networking, and operating systems. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are eager to build their career in IT infrastructure and end-user support. The candidate will work under senior guidance to ensure smooth IT operations and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operating Systems & System Administration
- Install and configure Operating Systems (Windows, Ubuntu/Linux)
- Understand different types of Operating Systems and their versions
- Perform OS booting and troubleshooting boot-related issues
- Basic exposure to Windows Server and Active Directory
- User account management and system access control (basic level)
🔹 Troubleshooting & System Support
- Diagnose and resolve system power-on issues
- Troubleshoot Blue Screen (BSOD) errors
- Handle system performance-related issues
- Perform network troubleshooting
- Support data backup and recovery processes
🔹 Networking Fundamentals
- Understanding of IP Addressing:
- Private IP & Public IP
- Static IP & Dynamic IP
- IP Address Classes
- Knowledge of DNS and DHCP
- Basic understanding of Router, Switch, LAN, WAN, Firewall concepts
🔹 Hardware & Software Support
- Identify and install hardware components (RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, etc.)
- Install and troubleshoot software applications
- Perform system upgrades and driver installations
- Maintain IT hardware inventory
🔹 Ticketing & Support Process
- Work with ticketing tools to log, track, and resolve issues
- Document incidents and resolutions clearly
- Escalate complex issues appropriately
- Maintain SLA compliance
🔹 Additional Basic Knowledge (Added Advantage)
- Basic understanding of Cloud platforms
- Basic Database knowledge
- Familiarity with Mac Operating System
Required Skills & Eligibility
· Basic knowledge of Windows & Ubuntu OS installation and troubleshooting
· Basic knowledge of Windows & Ubuntu OS installation and troubleshooting
· Understanding of Windows Server & Active Directory (fundamentals)
· Good knowledge of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall)
· Basic hardware troubleshooting knowledge
· Familiarity with ticketing tools
· Good analytical and troubleshooting mindset
· Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
