Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in online bidding and client acquisition for IT services. The candidate will be responsible for generating business through platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru, managing proposals, and converting leads into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Online Bidding & Lead Generation
- Identify and evaluate projects on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Guru
- Submit high-quality, customized proposals to potential clients
- Generate leads through cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and other channels
2. Proposal Writing & Client Conversion
- Understand client requirements and prepare detailed proposals
- Handle client communication, requirement gathering, and follow-ups
- Convert leads into projects and long-term contracts
3. Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Negotiate pricing and close deals effectively
4. Client Relationship Management
- Develop long-term relationships with clients
- Ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
- Act as a point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
5. Market Research & Strategy
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and client needs
- Suggest improvements in proposal strategy and pricing models
Required Skills
- Strong experience in online bidding and proposal writing
- Excellent communication (written & verbal)
- Hands-on experience with CRM tools like Salesforce CRM
- Good understanding of IT services (web/mobile development, SaaS, etc.)
- Negotiation and closing skills
