We are looking for a Sr. Accountant to join the passionate Codingal team.

Experience Required: 3–5 years

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Maintain accurate financial records using Zoho Books and QuickBooks
• Ensure monthly and yearly book closure
• Prepare and review financial statements – Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow
• Manage inter-company transactions between Indian and US entities
• 2. Compliance & Taxation
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PT, and PF
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) and TDS returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q)
• Support income tax return filing and compliance under Indian tax law
• 3. Accounts Payable
• Process vendor invoices, manage vendor payments, and maintain AP aging report
• Reconcile customer payments and refunds in the accounting system
• 4. Banking & Treasury Management
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and cash flow reporting
• Manage payments processing with appropriate statutory deductions
• 5. Audit & Financial Controls
• Maintain internal financial controls and documentation

Key Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian compliance regulations
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and QuickBooks
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes
• Excellent reconciliation skills (Bank, Vendor, Customer)
• Understanding of US-India intercompany accounting
• Experience working with external auditors and tax consultants
