Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites.
• Ensure high-performance and availability of websites by optimizing for speed and scalability.
• Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, including performance, security, and functionality.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and WordPress.
• Work with the backend development team to integrate server-side logic with front-end elements.
• Perform regular site maintenance and updates, ensuring websites remain secure and up-to-date.
• Customize and extend existing themes and plugins to meet client requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative development environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with a strong focus on WordPress.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with responsive design and development.
• Familiarity with PHP and MySQL.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Ability to convert PSD/Figma/Sketch designs into fully functional WordPress themes.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder, or WPBakery.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience with performance optimization tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of web security principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with WooCommerce and other popular WordPress plugins.
