Mandatory Technical Skills:

1. Hands on Experience in embedded SW development using C for 16/32-bit micros –

Infineon, NXP, Renesas, etc.

2. Experience with real-time embedded operating systems and design principles.

3. Experience debugging embedded hardware/software low-level issues.

4. Proficient in using embedded non-volatile memory (EEPROM, data flash).

5. Communication protocols CAN/LIN/Diagnostic(UDS).

6. Experience in Verification tools- Static analysis tools, Unit Testing tools.

7. Experience with development tools: compilers, debuggers, emulators, logic analyzers.

8. Experience with Polarion, Plastics or any configuration management tools

9. Understanding and working experience with ASPICE and AGILE methodologies.

Mandatory Soft Skills

1. Good Communication Skills

2. Good Team player and motivated to work in cross cultural environment

Optional Skills:

1. Experience in Automotive industry

2. Functional Safety, Cyber Security, Autosar exposure

Your role

You will be working on Software engineering tasks for Passive Safety products. In particular you

will be responsible for:

1. Product development activities – including, but not limited to:

a) Identify, derive and document SW requirements including SW safety

requirements and safety mechanisms

b) SW requirements specification (SWRS)

c) SW Architecture and Detailed Design (SAD/SDD)


d) SW code implementation

e) Running and analyzing Coverity Static Analysis Reports

f) Unit Test Specifications, testing and Reports generation

g) SW Integration Test Specifications and Reports generation

h) SW Qualification Test Specifications and Reports generation

i) SW Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis (DFMEA)

j) SW Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)

k) Functional Safety Verification Report

l) Configuration of 3rd party software – such as, Bootloaders, MCALs, OEM Serial

Data Integration Package and Vector SIPs

m) Conducting SW build Integration

n) Involve in the SW release activities

o) Support answering queries, investigating issues and addressing concerns from

other PODS teams, 3rd party suppliers and OEM customers

p) Support investigation and resolution of issues reported by OEM customers

2. Report progress, bottlenecks and escalate any issues to Aptiv management as needed

3. Participate in all Project Team meetings and undertake action items allocated

4. Support product re-architecting/re-designing efforts

5. Support development of Aptiv software interfaces with OEM Product Tools – e.g. Boot

updater, utility files, reprogramming tools, verification tools
