UNIX Generalist

Provide general UNIX systems administrative/engineering support for a large, complex interconnected system w/both

physical and virtual environments hosting multiple operating systems including Windows, Solaris and Linux;

5+ years of proven experience with the analysis, planning, design, implementation, upgrade, and migration of applications hosted on

Solaris and/or Red Hat Linux;

Understanding of file storage, DB connections, log analysis and other supplemental exposures;

2+ years of proven experience with WebLogic Administration/Configuration in a Solaris/Linux environment;

2+ years of successfully demonstrated experience with Unix shell scripting, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL*Loader;

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership;

Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, demonstrate strong problem solving skills

Hands-on implementation experience with high-availability architectures;

Proven mastery of troubleshooting techniques and the ability to solve problems quickly;
