Scope:
As a Functional Implementation Leader, you are part of a cross functional deployment & run team with the responsibility to deploy the designed “Global Template” which will enable to move from current business processes and operating systems to common business processes, enabled by SAP. The role also includes supporting live sites through trouble shooting, training, enhancements and rapid deployments.
Candidate should have good experience/Knowledge in Global trade and compliance
Specifically, you will have responsibility for:
• Teaming and interfacing with the IT and business teams as it pertains to all aspects of SAP GTS.
This includes understanding the site business requirements and performing gap analysis, assisting with the redesign of processes, and testing to insure conversion success
• Working with Trade and Compliance (GTS) leadership team regarding process changes, global enhancement or Rapid deployment requests and updates on global activities.
• Completing key deliverables as assigned such as functional site discovery and scoping documentation, business test scenarios, and others as outlined in the deployment methodology
• Responsible for the knowledge transfer to local business users
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with functional teams to fully understand the global template for GTS (Global Trade & Compliance Management) in SAP and provide input to the evolution of the global template.
Deployments & Transitions
• Capture, assess and prioritize key business requirement gaps from all sites that are part of a deployment project
• Drive best business process across .
• Champion change management activities
• Learn the Honeywell SAP system to the standard required and ensure that knowledge is effectively transferred to other users
• Ensure that all users are able to operate new business process effectively with minimum impact to the business
• Ensure Global Design Model consistency across all deployments
• Manage relationship and communication with leadership team
• Work to resolve any complex issue being experienced by the business.
Live Sites
• Help with trouble shooting and root cause analysis of day to day issues faced by the business
• Involvement in scoping and requirements gathering for Rapid Development and Enhancement requests
• Assist the business with testing of solutions prior to implementation
• Promote best practice process adoption where ever possible
• Drive communication and collaboration between IT and other Business Functions to enable smooth transition, coordinating changes to process, outputs & data,
• Responsible for scoping, testing & implementation of the IT GTS plan as part of the larger global project.
