Job Description :

SAP PP-VC (Variant Configuration) Functional Analyst should have a good understanding of products modelling and configuring in SAP system.

This position will have the ability to clearly understand the business requirements and work closely to fulfil the business needs.

A strong understanding of SAP PP concepts and other Integrated modules is required for this position & Role.

Job Functions:

• To Implement and support VARIANT CONFIGURATION for a given product in the SAP system, which can also include

creation of new characteristics, classes, dependencies, variant functions, variant tables, etc.

• Exposure to integration aspects of Variant Configuration with Business Process such as Sales, Production, Purchasing and Costing and technologies including IDOC, ALE, RFC, PI and Web Services.

• Lead the efforts of SAP team to maximize the effectiveness of SAP Solutions to support business goals of the company.

• Demonstrate capability to utilize best practices to support SAP ERP Configurations across modules for the business.

• Proven ability to understand the business processes of the organization and the core application environments.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Experience

• Must have at least 3+yrs of experience on SAP VC (Variant Configuration) and overall of 6+ years in SAP PP (Production & Planning) module.

• Must have experience of all Life cycles of Implementing an SAP PP-VC Solutions

• Life science business experience is a definite plus for this position. Ability to be productive in a fast paced environment with minimal direction

Knowledge and Skills

• Must have completed at least 1 End to End SAP PP-VC implementation projects for a customer in same or similar industry.

• Knowledge of Apparel industry processes will be an added advantage

• Tactical Thinking and the ability to execute successfully

• Wide degree of technical skills and creativity is expected

• Must understand the integration technologies like EDI, ALE/IDOCs, PI, Web Services.

• Good Problem Solving and Communication skills.

• Ability to work in cross-cultural set-up

• Interact with the business teams
