Job description

The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle. They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop: Build responsive and interactive web applications using Blazor and .NET Core.
• Integration: Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases, ensuring smooth data flow and performance.
• Performance Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and design improvements to optimize application performance and user experience.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces that meet design standards and accessibility requirements.
• Code Quality: Ensure high-quality code through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Debug, test, and document solutions for technical issues, ensuring efficient issue resolution.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with Blazor, .NET Core, and other relevant technology updates and bring best practices to the team.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills:

• .NET Core: Strong experience with .NET Core framework, including building APIs and working with MVC architecture.
• Blazor: Demonstrated proficiency in Blazor, including Razor components and Blazor WebAssembly or Blazor Server.
• C#: Strong C# programming skills, with experience in object-oriented programming and asynchronous programming.
• HTML/CSS: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap (or other responsive design frameworks).
• JavaScript and jQuery: Basic to intermediate JavaScript/jQuery skills for managing client-side scripting.
• APIs: Familiarity with RESTful API design, integration, and data handling.
• Entity Framework Core: Experience with Entity Framework Core for database interactions and ORMs.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Microsoft Azure or AWS: Familiarity with cloud computing, deployment, and services on platforms like Azure or AWS.
• SQL Server: Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
• Agile Development: Experience working within Agile or Scrum teams.
• Unit Testing: Familiarity with unit testing, TDD, and test automation frameworks like xUnit or NUnit.
• DevOps: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (preferably Git).

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
