Job Overview

We are seeking a Data Engineer Presales Executive to join our team at CG-VAK Software & Exports Ltd., headquartered in Coimbatore. This is a part-time, remote position designed for professionals with expertise in data engineering and presales. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with data engineering principles and practices to design scalable data models.
• Strong proficiency in Apache Spark to process large-scale data efficiently and accurately.
• Advanced skills in SQL with the capability to perform complex queries and data manipulation tasks.
• Experience with ETL Tools necessary for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Ability to create insightful data visualizations using Tableau, transforming data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with AI applications in data engineering for developing innovative solutions (Mandatory skill).
• Demonstrated experience in presales roles with the ability to influence customer decisions (Mandatory skill).
• Strong communication and presentation skills, engaging with clients to outline comprehensive data solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales teams to understand client requirements and provide technical expertise during the presales process.
• Develop and present data-driven solutions that align with client business objectives and technical constraints.
• Leverage AI and presales skills to propose innovative data architecture solutions to prospective clients.
• Conduct demonstrations and proof-of-concepts to showcase the capabilities of proposed solutions to clients.
• Collaborate with technical teams to design, develop, and implement data solutions that meet client needs.
• Utilize Apache Spark for efficient data processing and analysis in delivering customer-centric solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation for data solutions including architecture, processes, and usage guidelines.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of presales processes and service offerings at CG-VAK.
