Job Overview


Centrix Interiors is seeking a Store Assistant to join our team in Bangalore Urban, Karnataka, India. As a Store Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our inventory and stock management. This is a Full-Time position with a requirement of less than 1 year of experience.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Fresher with less than 1 year of experience
  • Basic computer skills for inventory management and record keeping
  • Any undergraduate degree
  • Prefer candidates from localities in Bangalore Urban
  • Fluency in Hindi language is a must
  • Ability to receive and unload shipments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Maintain and organize store inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders
  • Inspect and record received materials for quality and quantity assurance
  • Assist in the packing and labeling of products for shipping
  • Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies to the Store Manager
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness in the store
  • Assist customers in locating and selecting products
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints
  • Operate basic computer systems for inventory management and record keeping
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and team members to improve store operations.
  • Maintaining and keeping track of receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
  • Receiving, unloading, and shelving supplies
  • Executing other stock-related duties which may include returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
  • Examining and reviewing deliveries for discrepancies and damages and reporting to necessary personnel for reimbursements and record keeping
