Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Study Abroad Counselor to join our team in Ahmedabad or Vallabh Vidyanagar. This full-time position focuses on guiding students through every step of the study abroad process, including counseling, lead generation, and handling overseas education queries to ensure successful enrollments.

Qualifications and Skills

• Expertise in the study abroad process, including application and admission procedures, is required for delivering comprehensive counseling sessions (Mandatory skill).
• Proven ability in lead generation, from initiating contact with prospective students to nurturing ongoing relationships (Mandatory skill).
• Demonstrated proficiency in overseas education counseling, with the ability to address diverse student needs and aspirations (Mandatory skill).
• Solid student counseling background, effectively assisting individuals in selecting academic pathways and career options best suited to their goals.
• Adeptness in converting inquiries into successful admissions through persuasive sales strategies within the education consultancy industry.
• Outstanding communication skills, both spoken and written, to clearly explain complex procedures and respond to student and parent queries.
• Comprehensive knowledge of visa guidance, enabling students to successfully navigate country-specific student visa requirements and documentation.
• Strong ability in course and university shortlisting, matching student profiles to suitable academic programs and institutions worldwide.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counseling to students and families, guiding them through the entire overseas education process from application to admission.
• Generate, qualify, and nurture leads by following up with prospective students interested in studying abroad and understanding their requirements.
• Evaluate academic credentials and career aspirations to recommend appropriate courses and universities aligned with students' goals.
• Offer accurate and up-to-date information on visa application requirements, processes, and country-specific regulations.
• Handle student queries related to education destinations, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and scholarship options.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient support for visa documentation, application follow-ups, and university communications.
• Maintain thorough records of student interactions, applications, and outcomes for continual process improvement.
• Participate in seminars, info sessions, and promotional activities to represent the company and increase awareness about overseas education opportunities.
