We are seeking a skilled Dermatology Coder to join our team in Chennai. As a Dermatology Coder, you will be responsible for accurately coding and billing dermatology procedures and services. This is a full-time position suitable for candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience in dermatology coding.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Dermatology Coder
• Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
• Familiarity with dermatology-related procedures, diagnoses, and terminology
• Knowledge of medical coding guidelines and compliance requirements
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC) is preferred
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Accurately code and bill dermatology procedures and services based on documentation provided by healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, regulations, and industry standards
• Review and analyze medical records to ensure coding accuracy and completeness
• Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies
• Collaborate with the billing team to ensure timely submission of claims and resolve coding-related denials or rejections
• Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices
• Assist in training and mentoring junior coding staff
