The Consultant’s primary responsibility will be:
· Mapping market and
businesses
· Define and assess
synergies/business plans
·
Data
mining
· Deliver in a
project management environment, with multiple tasks, diverse requirements, and
a broad stakeholder base
· Advisory - help
clients position their organizations to win in an evolving, competitive
marketplace.
·
Support
- the project manager/s and consultancy in delivering sell and buy side
commercial, technical, and operational due diligence.
·
Identify
risks and mitigating solutions for due diligence services offered across the
chemicals value chain; including consumer applications,
such as personal care and home care.
· Perform analysis
and synthesize data into useful insights, with experience in market analysis,
operational benchmarking and performance improvement analysis and technical
evaluation.
As a consultant you
will be expected to deliver:
· Analytical thinking
and problem solving: Select appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing
data, and develop informed recommendations that shape or support the clients'
business strategy
· Delivery
excellence: Produce high quality work and collaborate with others to always
deliver a superior client experience

Structuring: Organize insights and define a logical flow to a compelling story when
presenting recommendations
· Tools, skills, and
frameworks: Develop an understanding of effective tools, skills and frameworks
that can be brought to bear on new client problems, and share best practice
within the team
· Relationship
management: Work closely with client peers and third parties to develop value
enhancing professional relationships
· Continuous
learning: Proactively develop your own skills, seeking feedback, building
knowledge, and sharing your insights with colleague
Job Requirements:
· Experience of 2-4
years in M&A consulting or corporate strategy delivery role overseeing
large scale and strategic transformation programs. M&A experience in
Chemical and Materials, Oil & Gas, Personal Care, Home Care, HI&I
and other consumer serving industries will be preferable.
· A proven relentless attention to detail and quality
· Industry or consulting experience with financial reporting, transformation/strategy, or other services particularly in relation to M&A or restructuring activity
· Flexibility of attitude and a willingness to travel
· Ability to work across different time-zones with international clients
