Maintenance Head - CNC, PLC, automobile For Vadodara

Job Title: Maintenance Head

Job Profile: The Maintenance Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance activities in an organization, with a focus on electrical, mechanical, CNC, PLC, automobile machine shop maintenance, and related areas. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage a large team.

Location: Vadodara, India

Experience: 15-20 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

1.   Leadership and Team Management:

·        Lead and supervise a large team of maintenance technicians and engineers.

·        Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the team's efficiency and effectiveness.

·        Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.

·        

2.   Maintenance Strategy and Planning:

·        Develop and implement maintenance strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.

·        Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

·        Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate maintenance performance and make data-driven decisions.

3.   Electrical, Mechanical, CNC, PLC, and Automobile Machine Shop Maintenance:

·        Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, CNC machines, PLC systems, and automotive machine shop equipment.

·        Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in all maintenance activities.

·        Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks or equipment repairs.

4.   Budgeting and Resource Management:

·        Develop and manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.

·        Optimize the utilization of resources, including manpower, tools, spare parts, and equipment, to minimize downtime and reduce costs.

·        Identify opportunities for improvement in maintenance processes and implement cost-saving initiatives.

5.   Continuous Improvement and Reliability:

·        Drive continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes and practices.

·        Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles to enhance equipment reliability and reduce breakdowns.

·        Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.

Qualifications and Skills:

·        Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

·        Proven experience of 15-20 years in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

·        In-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, CNC, PLC, and automobile machine shop maintenance practices.

·        Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a large team.

·        Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

·        Proficiency in budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control.
