Job description:

A Solar Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and completion of solar energy projects. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the project, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling. They work closely with the solar design team, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

Developing and managing project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation

Working closely with the solar design team to ensure that project requirements are understood and met

Managing relationships with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders involved in the project

Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards

Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as necessary to ensure that project goals are met

Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues

Managing project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and other project-related documents

Communicating project status and progress to key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members

Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field

Proven experience in project management, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role

Strong knowledge of solar energy systems and related electrical systems

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team

Proven track record of successfully managing solar energy projects from concept to completion

Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards related to solar energy systems

Project management certification (such as PMP) is desirable
