JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Provide subject matter expertise in Process Safety ensuring industry best practice. Maintain work permit system (W.P.S.) at site…No work shall be carried out at site without proper permits issued for work.
2. Responsible to maintain / formulation SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), Policies, Work Instruction and effectively implementation of the same. Responsible for Fire Evacuation and Fire Drills, Co-ordinate Safety Committee etc.
3. Conducts investigations of all accidents and near-misses, reports to concerned authorities or mandated by regulations.
4. Assist in emergency response and Provide first-aid treatment.
5. Supervise/watches out for the site construction safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations. Implement of Work permit system for various operations of the site.
6. B.E/BSC/MSC- Environmental science, Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field or equivalent work experience (12 to 15 Years).
7. Extensive knowledge of OSHAS (ISO 45001:2018), DOT, NFPA, EPA, other governmental regulations and laws. Knowledge of (EMS) Environment Management System will be added an advantage.
8. Knowledge of statistics, data collection and analysis. Knowledge of federal and state regulations. Knowledge of federal and state regulations

Candidate must have Agro chemical plant experience we prefer process chemical engineers
