JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Asst. Manager - Human Resources
Department: GA, Finance & HR
Reporting to: CMO
Work Location: Naraina Vihar, Delhi (Nearest Metro - Naraina Vihar, Pink Line)
As a Asst. Manager - Human Resources, you'll need to:
Recruitment, on boarding and Induction
● Create Job Descriptions, Budgets for the positions, Recruitment plan, Job Postings, Deadlines.
● Responsible for preparing question banks for all the open positions
● Screening of resumes from Paid/Free Job Portals, social handles, LinkedIn based on several search
factors such as skills, location, experience, previous employers, etc.
● Vendor Management, develop good consultants ensuring long term association.
● Shortlist resumes Organizing Interview rounds and taking to the last stage, negotiation etc.
● Campus Recruitment
● Documentation from Joining to Exit formalities
● Onboarding Documentation (as per checklist), Generation of Appointment letter, Filing as per the
color coding.
● Handling Pre-Joining (Reference Verification, Salary Slips, Offer Letter) and Post Joining
(Documentation, induction, Enrolment in PF & ESIC, Insurance, Payroll portal, Internal Software)
documents & Formalities
● New joining induction - Company, Department introduction (PPT’s/in person), introduction with
buddy for the week
● Manage onboarding, initial documentation, Zimyo login and new hire process
Time, Attendance and Leave Management
● Employee enrollment on attendance software, assigning shifts, Work weeks.
● Track attendance and leave database, eligibility, availed and closing balances of leaves.
● Formulating attendance policies.
● Managing comp offs and overtimes.
Payroll Management
● Maintain the entire employee database related to payroll (Bank accounts, advances, transfers,
incentives, OT’s, and other deduction Leave, PF, ESIC, Bonus, Attendance, and In & Out)
● Validation of Payroll inputs and consolidation and generating payroll for the entire staff.
● Generation of Pay slips, and Wage and Other Registers as per the state compliances.
● Maintaining the Compliances Files as per the law
Policy Formulation and Implementation
● Designing and implementing the policies for Manufacturing and Head Office staff from time to
time as per the need.
● Make sure the policies in place are followed.
Performance Management
● Track Probation reviews with timelines and ensure outcomes are communicated formally through
letters/email.
● Ensure that contract renewals are done in a timely manner.
● Setting up KRA’s at the beginning of the Appraisal cycle.
● Releasing Increments, Promotion letters, Transfer letter, confirmation and letter of appreciation.
Employee Engagement
● Manage and motivate employees by organizing & developing open door policies and employee
engagement initiatives.
● Maintain and organize events of the organization as per the annual calendar of employee
engagement
● Celebrate the national and international days to keep live culture of the organization
● Engagement Activities – Birthday, Work Anniversary, Festival Celebration, Picnics, Sports Day,
Annual Day, Founder’s Day, Farewells, Survey and Open Forum etc.
Exit Management
● Manage the process of Resignation/Absconding which entails counseling the employee and
exploring possibilities of retention
● Conduct Exit Interviews, exit documentation, exit Checklist & Full and final settlements, and
gratuity settlements.
● Follow up for the clearance certificate and ensure final settlement is done within the standard
agreed timeline.
Admin and other HR Activities
Issuing ID cards, Business cards
Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee
relations and human resources policies, SOP and Measurable Processes, programs and practices
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliances.
Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary and termination procedures.
Maintain employee and workplace privacy, safety and security
Handle HR Audits and documentation
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
● At least 4 to 7 years of working experience in the HR field.
● Computer literate particularly with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word &
Microsoft PowerPoint
● Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to develop & learn
new skills
● Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Familiarity with full-cycle recruitment
● Hands-on experience with recruitment software and Applicant Tracking Systems
● Must be active on Linkedin and other professional social media portals
