Job Overview

Camories Photography is seeking a passionate Newborn Photographer Intern / Photographer to join our creative team in Pune. As a photography intern, you will work alongside our experienced photographers, assisting in capturing precious moments of newborns and their families. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, build your portfolio, and learn the technical and creative aspects of newborn photography.

This internship is designed for students or recent graduates who are eager to develop their photography skills in a professional, supportive environment. You'll gain exposure to various aspects of newborn photography and studio management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education/Experience:
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field.
• A passion for newborn photography, with some prior experience or portfolio samples preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with camera equipment and lighting setups (DSLR, mirrorless cameras, studio lights, backdrops).
• Knowledge of photo editing software like Adobe Lightroom and Microsoft excel & Google Drive
• Creative Skills:
• An eye for detail and a creative approach to capturing tender moments.
• Strong composition skills and understanding of lighting techniques, especially for indoor and newborn photography.
• Interpersonal Skills:
• Comfortable working with infants and their families, with a compassionate, patient demeanor.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Organizational Skills:
• Ability to assist in managing photo shoots, from set-up to tear-down, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
• Capable of organizing and maintaining digital photo archives.

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct Photoshoots Independently:

• After receiving training, take full responsibility for conducting newborn photo sessions, managing the setup, posing, and capturing special moments on your own.
• Independently handle props, lighting, and backgrounds, ensuring a professional and comfortable environment for newborns, and creating the perfect setting for each shoot.

• Post-Processing Support:
• Assist in editing photos, adjusting lighting, color balance, and retouching images to achieve high-quality results.
• Help prepare client galleries and finalize images for delivery.
• Client Interaction:
• Greet clients and make them feel comfortable during the photo shoot, ensuring a smooth experience for both parents and babies.
• Help with client communication for pre-session preparation, ensuring families know what to expect and how to prepare.
• Learning & Development:
• Actively participate in photography workshops and training sessions, learning techniques to enhance your skill set.
• Gain hands-on experience working in a real-world studio environment.
• Studio Maintenance:
• Assist in organizing the studio, managing props, and ensuring everything is kept clean and ready for shoots.
