Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Commis to join our culinary team at Casino Air Caterers & Flight Services Pvt. Ltd., located in Jaipur. Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent knife skills to efficiently prepare ingredients and work with various food items (Mandatory skill).
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices to maintain a clean and healthy kitchen environment (Mandatory skill).
- Proficiency in basic cooking techniques, enabling preparation of a wide range of dishes as directed (Mandatory skill).
- Strong understanding of ingredient preparation, ensuring freshness and accuracy in measurements and cuts.
- Ability to create visually appealing dish plating and presentation, enhancing the overall dining experience.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of culinary activities.
- Team collaboration abilities, working efficiently with peers to achieve day-to-day culinary objectives.
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments, handling the pressures and dynamics of a busy kitchen atmosphere with ease.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in food preparation and execution of menu items as per company standards.
- Maintain high levels of kitchen hygiene, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and securely storing food items.
- Manage cooking stations, ensuring all supplies are stocked and ready for use.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the timely delivery of dishes.
- Observe and refine dish presentation to align with prescribed culinary aesthetics.
- Participate in kitchen cleaning activities, ensuring a tidy and safe workspace for all kitchen staff.
- Adapt quickly to kitchen demands, demonstrating versatility in various cooking techniques and scenarios.
