Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Site Civil Engineer to join our team in Chennai as a fresher on a full-time basis. This entry-level position requires a candidate with up to 1 year of experience, who is eager to apply their skills in AutoCAD, Construction Management, and Geotechnical Engineering to contribute to our projects effectively.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Mandatory skill) is essential for drafting and designing project layouts accurately.
• Understanding of Construction Management (Mandatory skill) to oversee planning, coordination, and execution of projects efficiently.
• Knowledge in Geotechnical Engineering (Mandatory skill) for assessing ground conditions and recommending necessary designs and materials.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D for creating, analyzing, and visualizing civil engineering designs in 3D environments.
• Basic skills in Project Management to handle resources, timelines, and communication within project lifecycle.
• Experience with Revit to support Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and aid in structural design and documentation.
• Knowledge of STAAD Pro for analyzing and designing structures to ensure compliance with design codes.
• Understanding the use of Primavera P6 can aid in effective project planning and scheduling for timely delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting site investigations to determine the suitability of the site for construction projects.
• Support in preparing detailed plans and layouts using AutoCAD and other design software.
• Coordinate with senior engineers and project managers to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Help in monitoring project progress and identifying potential issues to propose timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all phases of construction.
• Collaborate with teams to conduct quality inspections and manage quality control tests during project execution.
• Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to discuss project requirements, progress, and updates.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and technical submissions for client review and approval.
