Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the healthcare financial sector and proven experience working with hospitals or medical institutions on financing deals. You will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, closing high-value deals, and expanding our footprint in the healthcare financing ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and build relationships with hospitals, medical institutions, diagnostic labs, and other healthcare providers.
- Pitch financial products and services tailored for healthcare needs (equipment financing, working capital, infrastructure funding, etc.).
- Lead end-to-end deal closures: from prospecting to negotiation and final execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (underwriting, product, legal) to structure and customize deals.
- Stay updated with healthcare regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare regular reports on pipeline, forecasts, and market feedback.
- Represent the company at healthcare conferences, seminars, and industry events.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business development, preferably in healthcare finance or B2B sales within the healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated success in closing deals with hospitals or medical institutions.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare financing products and industry-specific challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati (preferred).
