Position: Project Manager/Senior Project Manager (Male Candidate only from Chennai)

Location: Chennai (PERUMBAKKAM)

Qualification: B.E (Civil Engineering)

Ø Proven experience as construction project manager

Ø Good knowledge in civil structure & finishing

Ø In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

Ø Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards

Ø Good knowledge of MS Office

Ø Familiarity with construction/ project management software

Ø Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

Ø Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Ø A team player with leadership abilities

Ø BSc/BA in engineering, building science or relevant field

Ø PMP or equivalent certification will be an advantage

Ø Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project

Ø Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements

Ø Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities

Ø Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations

Ø Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met

Ø Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies

Ø Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities

Ø Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed

Ø Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports

Ø Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues
