We are hiring for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant

Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join our team. As a Functional Consultant, you will work closely with clients to design, implement, and optimize Business Central solutions that drive business efficiency. You will ensure alignment of the system with business requirements, providing expert advice on processes, configurations, and functionality. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Solution Design:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into functional requirements.

Design and configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions based on client needs.

Recommend best practices and optimized solutions for clients’ requirements.

Configuration & Customization:

Configure Business Central modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Sales.

Customize reports, forms, and workflows as per business requirements.

Perform detailed gap analysis and provide solutions to business process challenges.

Process Optimization & Troubleshooting:

Analyze business processes and identify areas for process improvement using Business Central.

Support and troubleshoot system issues, ensuring minimal impact on operations.

Provide solutions to enhance user experience and productivity.

User Training & Documentation:

Conduct training sessions for end users, ensuring they understand Business Central features and functionality.

Prepare and maintain functional documentation, training materials, and user guides.

Provide post-implementation support and assist with user queries.

Upgrades & Migration Support:

Assist with system upgrades and migrations from legacy ERP systems to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Ensure smooth transition and minimal downtime during migrations and system changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

8+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations and support.

Strong understanding of Business Central’s core modules: Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Sales.

Expertise in Business Central configurations, customization, and integrations.

Proficient with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) for process automation and reporting.

Strong knowledge of SQL Server and data management within Business Central.

Familiarity with Azure-based environments and integration strategies is a plus.

Other Skills:

Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant or equivalent is preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex business scenarios.

Ability to work effectively in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in industries like manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or financial services is a plus.

Exposure to Business Central integrations with third-party tools and external systems.

Knowledge of system migration strategies and the tools associated with it.

Experience with remote work and working with UK-based clients.
