Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Web Designer who can design and develop user-friendly, visually appealing websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of front-end technologies along with a keen eye for design and experience working with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Canva.

Key Responsibilities:

Web Development:

• Develop responsive and cross-browser compatible websites using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and JQuery
• Optimize site performance for speed, accessibility, and usability
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs
• Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party tools
• Follow SEO and accessibility best practices

Design & Visualization:

• Create website layouts, UI elements, and visual assets using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Canva
• Design engaging animations and micro-interactions to enhance UX
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes aligned with project goals
• Ensure all designs maintain brand consistency and visual appeal

Collaboration & Strategy:

• Collaborate with marketing, development, and project management teams
• Participate in brainstorming and UX/UI planning sessions
• Stay updated on the latest web and design trends, tools, and best practices
• Contribute to maintaining design systems and reusable libraries

Testing & Optimization:

• Perform device and browser testing for consistency and performance
• Continuously improve user experience through design tweaks and optimizations
• Monitor site metrics and use data to inform design enhancements

Key Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and JQuery
• Hands-on experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap (preferred)
• Skilled in Adobe Photoshop (PSD), Illustrator (AI), After Effects (AE), and Canva
• Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and practices is a plus

Design & Creativity:

• Strong visual design sense – color theory, typography, layout, and branding
• Ability to translate ideas and concepts into compelling digital designs
• Passion for design innovation and continuous learning

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.) is a bonus
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce
• Prior experience in fast-paced/start-up environments
• A strong portfolio showcasing both design and front-end development work
