Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Head of Sales at Blitz Academy. As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing a team of sales professionals, and driving business growth. This is a senior-level position that requires a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in sales management.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven track record of success in sales management, with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
- In-depth knowledge of sales processes and techniques
- Experience in B2C marketing and customer relationship management
- Familiarity with the education industry and technical courses is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide sales leadership and execution to define, plan, and achieve the Academy’s strategic goals and objectives
- Lead and mentor the sales team to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Train and coach the overall sales team - Monitor team's progress, key performance metrics, and be a sales leader who improves team performance day in and day out
- Achieve and ideally exceed weekly, monthly and quarterly revenue targets through direct sales and college partnerships.
- Prepare short-term and long-term sales plans, approaches and strategies, thorough and detailed sales forecasts
- Ensure rigorous follow-up on leads, translating them into profitable revenue
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities and provide regular reports and insights to the leadership team on sales performance
- Analyse and gather feedback from and relay it to the sales team for continuous improvement
- Ability to work across multiple Departments(As per the Courses offered by the Academy) and thrive in an environment with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to assess and report on strategic performance of the Academy
- Coordinate with multiple verticals/teams within the Academy to efficiencize the sales cycle.
- Work with teams to take high-level vision and translate down to executable actions
- Ability to assess and report on strategic sales performance of the Academy
- An orientation towards performance, along with exceptional work ethics
