We are seeking an experienced Admin/Facility Manager to oversee the operations and maintenance of our facilities. As a Facility Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our buildings, equipment, and systems. You will oversee a team of maintenance staff and contractors, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facility management, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
Facility Operations Management:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure smooth facility operations.
- Manage and coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems, equipment, and utilities.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Oversee the operation of critical facility systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Monitor facility performance and implement improvement measures to optimize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly.
Budgeting and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the facility's annual budget, including operating expenses and capital projects.
- Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget compliance.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to obtain competitive pricing and quality services.
- Manage inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Vendor and Contract Management:
- Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with contractors, ensuring adherence to service level agreements and quality standards.
- Evaluate vendor performance and address any concerns or issues.
Emergency Preparedness and Risk Management:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, including fire safety, evacuation, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Conduct regular drills and training sessions to enhance preparedness and response capabilities.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the facility and occupants.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Facility Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of facility operations, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using facility management software and tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
- Knowledge of MS- Office and Tally.
