Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Finance & Accounts with strong experience in Manufacturing Operations. The candidate will be responsible for budgeting, costing, financial analysis, accounting, statutory compliance, inventory accounting, and management reporting. Hands-on experience in product costing, budget preparation, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost control is mandatory.
Qualification:
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com
- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting, Budgeting, MIS, and Financial Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare Annual Operating Plans (AOP), budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor budget utilization and conduct monthly variance analysis.
- Coordinate with department heads for budget preparation and control.
- Analyze actual performance against budgets and recommend corrective actions.
Costing & Cost Control (Mandatory)
- Prepare and maintain Product Cost Sheets and BOM Costing.
- Conduct Standard Costing, Activity-Based Costing, and Cost Analysis.
- Monitor material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Analyze manufacturing variances and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support pricing decisions through detailed cost analysis.
- Ensure accurate inventory valuation and cost allocation.
Accounts & Finance Operations
- Manage General Ledger, Journal Entries, and Account Reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Flow.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
- Support internal and external audits.
Manufacturing Finance
- Monitor production costs, WIP, inventory, and consumption trends.
- Analyze machine utilization, production efficiencies, and overhead absorption.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, and Quality departments.
- Ensure compliance with inventory controls and asset management procedures.
MIS & Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Present profitability analysis by product, project, and customer.
- Generate cost reports and financial performance metrics.
- Support management decision-making through financial analysis.
Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, and cost audits.
- Maintain financial records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Budgeting.
- Experience in Manufacturing Costing and Inventory Accounting.
- Financial Analysis and Variance Reporting.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Statutory Compliance.
- Advanced MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query).
- ERP Experience (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / Tally Prime).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
