Key Requirements:


D2C Strategy & Growth Ownership

  • Design and execute a D2C-first growth roadmap integrating acquisition, conversion, retention, and advocacy.
  • Own core D2C metrics — CAC, LTV, AOV, repeat purchase rate, ROAS, and contribution margin.
  • Implement growth loops through personalized journeys, referral programs, and UGC-driven brand engagement.
  • Use frameworks like AARRR (Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral, Revenue) and RFM analysis to drive measurable impact.


Technology & Platform Management

  • Oversee e-commerce platforms — Shopify Plus, Magento, WooCommerce, or custom-built Astro tech stack.
  • Integrate Headless Commerce architecture for faster, API-driven scalability across mobile and web.
  • Implement automation flows via Zapier, HubSpot, WebEngage, MoEngage, or Clevertap for cart recovery, onboarding, and retention.
  • Deploy analytics infrastructure: Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Mixpanel, Hotjar, Metabase, Power BI for behavioral insights and funnel optimization.


Performance Marketing & CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization)


  • Lead omni-channel paid growth (Meta, Google, YouTube, Amazon Ads, influencer collabs, and affiliate networks).
  • Use tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Optimizely, and VWO to optimize landing pages and content strategy.
  • Drive SEO/AEO strategy to dominate astrology, gemstone, and puja-related search keywords.
  • A/B test messaging, pricing, and creatives to maximize ROI and conversion rates across touchpoints.

Customer Experience & Retention


  • Build seamless customer journeys across website, app, and marketplaces, ensuring consistency in brand tone and
  • user trust.
  • Leverage AI/ML-driven personalization (using Algolia, Segment, or Insider) for recommendation engines — gemstones by zodiac, puja kits by occasion.
  • Drive retention KPIs: repeat purchase %, NPS, CSAT, and churn reduction through lifecycle automation.
  • Manage loyalty programs and WhatsApp/email remarketing flows using Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Interakt.


Marketplace & Omni-channel Growth

  • Expand and manage marketplace operations — Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Myntra, and Quick Commerce platforms
  • (Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart).
  • Optimize catalog visibility, content, pricing strategy, and ads to improve category leadership and profitability.
  • Use channel analytics tools (ChannelAdvisor, Unicommerce, EasyEcom) for cross-platform performance tracking.


Operations, Logistics & Supply Chain

  • Streamline inventory, warehousing, and fulfillment using tools like Shiprocket, EasyEcom, Unicommerce, and ERPNext.

  • Improve delivery SLAs, RTO rates, and logistics efficiency through predictive demand forecasting.
  • Ensure product authenticity, certification compliance (GIA/IGI for gemstones), and quality assurance workflows.


P&L & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Own P&L accountability, focusing on margin optimization and revenue scalability.
  • Build financial dashboards and forecasting models using Power BI and Google Data Studio.
  • Use cohort and funnel analysis to identify growth levers and allocate budgets efficiently.
  • Partner with the Founder to define quarterly OKRs, growth KPIs, and fundraising readiness.


Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build and mentor a cross-functional team spanning growth marketing, tech, product, analytics, and operations.
  • Establish Agile sprint systems, ClickUp/Jira task governance, and a culture of accountability.
  • Encourage innovation through data reviews, experimentation pods, and hackathons for new product ideas.


Preferred Experience:


  •  10–15 years of leadership experience in D2C, e-commerce, or consumer-tech (lifestyle, wellness, or spiritual category preferred).
  • Proven P&L ownership and scale-up experience in multi-brand ecosystems.
  • Strong command of growth tools: GA4, Shopify, HubSpot, Clevertap, WebEngage, MoEngage, Mixpanel, Hotjar, Power BI.
  • Expertise in CRO, retention marketing, automation frameworks, and omni-channel commerce.
  • Proficiency in SQL, API integrations, and data-driven experimentation is a plus.
  • Strategic yet hands-on — a balance of analytical depth and execution agility.
