We are looking for a Data Scientist for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary responsibility will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to request from the frontend. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of frontend technologies is necessary as well.

what you’ll do

Data Scientists will leverage vast amounts of data collected by us and build models to provide amazing experiences to our customers and solve business problems. Individuals will be part of a team consisting of data analysts and machine learning engineers. Data scientists will own a complete model development life cycle - define problem statement, data requirement, extracting and cleaning data, DS and business metric, model experimentation and development, and are expected to write clean code, which can be easily used or deployed by machine learning engineers. Few of the interesting problems on which we are working on are - face recognition based attendance system, extracting information from images of government id cards, job recommender system etc.

What we are looking for:

• Understanding of Data Science lifecycle
• Good understanding of ML models, specially of those which you have used in past
• Proficiency in Python with respect to Data Science – scikit-learn, jupyter notebook, tensorflow or pytorch
• Proficiency in relational databases – MySQL or Postgresql
• Software engineering practices – git, CI/CD etc.
