Job Title: Production Manager (Photography Editing Services)


Job Summary: Our photography editing services company is seeking a results-driven Production Manager to lead our team of editors, subject matter experts, and quality control executives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern photo editing technology, including AI, and possess excellent experience in managing workflows, turnaround times, and capacity planning. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing every aspect of production, from recruiting and training team members to delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and implement workflows, policies, and procedures to ensure the efficient functioning of the production team.

Plan and manage production volumes, schedules, and timelines to meet client requirements and company expectations.

Identify opportunities and implement processes to improve production efficiency and quality using cutting-edge technology including AI.

Manage a team of editors, subject matter experts, and quality control executives to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of services.

Recruit and train new team members to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.

Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and feedback while ensuring service quality, timelines and communication.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and legal requirements.

Maintain an accountable, data-driven approach for continuous improvement through regular analysing of metrics, quality reports and feedback from team and clients.

Collaborate with the Business Development and Operations teams to streamline the entire editing workflow from client acquisition to delivery.


Key Result Areas:


Meeting or exceeding production targets, including volume, turnaround times, and accuracy levels.

High-quality service delivery and exceeding client expectations.

Maintaining skills and processes to ensure the use of AI and other cutting-edge technologies for efficient production processes.

Building and maintaining a high-performing and motivated team through training, coaching, and professional development.

Close collaboration and coordination with business development and operations teams for streamlined workflow.


Requirements:


Bachelor's degree in photography, design, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in managing production for a photography services company and extensive experience in using AI in photo editing.

Strong knowledge of photo editing technology, software, and practices.

Demonstrated leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills in managing teams, developing workflows and collaborating with other teams.

Ability to develop and implement efficient production systems to handle high volumes while ensuring quality standards.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Strong analytical skills to get insights from business data and metrics.

Proficiency in project management tools, productivity software, and communication platforms.
