Job Title: AWS Architect

Responsibilities:

AWS Technical delivery, architecting solutions using AWS platform and services (50%)

Interview & Contribution to practice (30%)

Program oversight and governance (10%)

Team & people management (10%)

Candidate will be primarily responsible for defining and driving the key initiatives, solution offerings and evangelizing within and across the customer base. This role will entail to be abreast on the latest in cloud technology space and would require strong architecting and implementation skills across cloud providers, specifically AWS.

· Study the existing Cloud Services like processes, best practices and standardize the service offerings, strengthen and improve the maturity levels and make a strong practice

· Focus on continual improvement of Cloud service offerings.

· Drive and deliver strategic cloud initiatives for the cloud practice

· Makes technical presentations and submits viewpoints, whitepaper for publication to internal and external stakeholders.

· Delivery of complex solutions to issues which might include but are not limited to: - Architecture, Configuration, Security, Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Infrastructure etc.,

· Recommends how specific technologies, standards, methods, and techniques are to be used throughout the solutions delivery community.

· Designs and implements larger research and proof of concept projects as an individual contributor, focusing on one or a small number of technologies or applications to be implemented into a larger platform.

· Aid in evangelizing/institutionalizing industry-leading practices, trends and equip the dev community with the right skills to successfully deliver cloud projects

Experience/Skills:

Professional degree with 12-16 years of experience with architecting, designing and implementing AWS/Multi-cloud services. Should have extremely good business acumen and growth mindset. Should be entrepreneurial and responsible for growing the practice vertical Technical.

o 5+ years of good hand-on experience with AWS foundation services related to computing, network, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, automation technologies.. Strong skills in serverless architecture, micro-services architectures, data lake design, container orchestration platforms, DevOps and CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code using tools and technologies like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.

o Expertise in developing competencies and references through proofs-of-concept

o Expertise in Infra capacity sizing, costing of AWS services to drive optimized solution architecture, leading to optimal infra investment vs performance and scale.

o Expertise in articulating architectural choices within various AWS services and solution methodologies.

o Expertise in database

o Proficiency in DevOps automation and tools - Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Shell Scripts

o Understanding of networking fundamentals, concepts, and design principles

o Working Knowledge in Java, Node JS & other open source technologies

o Knowledge in Configuration Management tools like SVN, TFS, VSS

o Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Methodology (SDLC)

o Conceptual understanding of SOA principles, Design Patterns and ability to provide solutions

3+ years relevant experience in technology consulting and experience migrating
