Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Engineer to join .As a Purchasing Engineer, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services to support our manufacturing operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a Purchasing Engineer or in a similar purchasing role
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles
• Knowledge of engineering specifications and manufacturing processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
• Source and assess potential suppliers, negotiate pricing and contract terms
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production teams to ensure optimal stock levels
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction strategies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in procurement processes
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, delivery, and price performance
• Manage supplier contracts and resolve any contractual issues
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management
