Job Overview

AVSAR HR Services is seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Lead to join our team in Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban. This mid-level, full-time position requires a dynamic leader to coordinate logistics and warehouse operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will have up to 6 years of relevant work experience and possess key skills in warehouse management and team leadership.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Software (WMS) to efficiently oversee warehouse operations (Mandatory skill).
• Strong logistics coordination skills to ensure the timely and organized delivery of goods (Mandatory skill).
• Proven team leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate warehouse staff (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with inventory management systems to accurately maintain stock levels and reduce discrepancies.
• Knowledge of forklift operation to ensure the safe and effective handling of materials within the warehouse.
• Understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles to implement process improvements and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with supply chain management practices for optimizing the flow of goods and materials.
• Commitment to health and safety compliance to create a safe working environment and maintain industry standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the warehouse team to achieve daily operational goals and targets efficiently.
• Oversee the inventory control process, including receiving, storing, and shipping activities, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate logistics activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers.
• Implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma principles to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a high standard of health and safety compliance within the warehouse environment.
• Monitor warehouse operations and address any issues promptly to minimize disruptions and delays.
• Train and develop warehouse staff to improve performance and prepare for future growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and problem resolution in supply chain processes.
