Designation : Process Design Engineer

Job Overview:

Will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of process systems in accordance with project requirements.

Will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the efficient, safe, and cost-effective execution of engineering projects.

The role requires a combination of technical knowledge, creativity, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain accurate PFDs and P&IDs to reflect system design and operational processes.
• Assist in performing hydraulic calculations and selecting the appropriate size for process vessels, ensuring functionality and efficiency.
• Preparing Line list, Equipment List and valve list.
• Preparation of Detailed Data Sheets for Process Equipment and Instruments: Prepare and verify technical data sheets for all process equipment, ensuring that specifications align with project requirements.
• Sizing and Selection of Control Valves and Pressure Relief Systems: Specify and select appropriate control valves and pressure relief systems in accordance with project needs and safety standards.
• Prepare detailed documentation, including datasheets, control philosophies, isolation philosophies, and hydraulic calculations for engineering systems.
• Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) and Hazard Identification (HAZID) studies, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
• Collaborate with vendors to acquire process equipment and ensure all technical specifications are met. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for seamless integration.
• Monitor project timelines, track progress, and ensure that milestones are achieved within the specified timeframe.

Required Technical Skills:

1. Solid understanding of hydraulic calculations, control systems, and process safety.

2. Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure precision in all aspects of design and documentation.

3. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and present technical information clearly.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering or related field
• Experience: 3-5 years
