Responsibilities:

Test Automation

 The TOSCA Automation Lead is the most experienced Tosca user, a technical specialist, who

ensures that approaches, tools and techniques are built into the solution

 Design and develop Test Automation Framework, and code libraries to enable the team to use

and enhance them across successive projects

 Provide technical support to the Test Manager to assist in achieving their strategic goals for the

Test Team

 Liaise with teams, such as DevOps and Support, to build cohesive Continuous Integration (CI)

and Continuous Resilience (CR) along with implementing parallel testing using TOSCA DEX

 Monitor the effectiveness of the testing function and bring about improvements through

insights gained via analysis at all stages of the Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and the

Software Test Life cycle (STLC)

 Responsible for driving end to end automation of multiple Agile teams

 Involved in POC and test framework design for Tosca automation test suite.

 Extensively involved in implementing Tosca’s in built features at the project level e.g. Recovery

and clean up scenarios, Tosca CI, DEX, use of loops

 Responsible for development, implementation, maintenance, and enforcement of testsuite

adhering to policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure a consistent test suite

 Articulate test requirements into automation test strategy and test plan considering factors like

dependencies, risk, limitations etc

 Address Customization issues by use of Extension development

 Responsible for driving test plan, overall test schedule, estimation by adopting different test

techniques

 Responsible for driving client meetings and ensuring prompt reporting of status\Project issues

Organisational Test Practices

 Standardize the testing process like test reviews, defect management etc. and implement

automation best practices across test teams

 Conducting Root Cause Analysis, Sprint Retrospectives and capturing the lessons learnt

 Tracking the risks\issues and coming up with effective mitigation plans

 Involve in developing\enhancing test automation frameworks and develop re-usable assets

 Plan and execute necessary knowledge transfer, knowledge management and documentation of

lessons learnt

 Identifying process or technical improvements in the team and delivering them

 Establish and Develop Knowledge Management Repository
