Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end data migration projects, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate completion
• Consult with customers to gather and document data migration requirements, objectives, and business rules
• Design and implement robust data migration strategies, plans, and processes, considering source and target systems, data mapping, and transformation requirements
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries and scripts to extract, transform, and load data from legacy systems into Salesforce using ETL tools and data loaders
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, and validation to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity
• Utilize SOAP and/or REST APIs to develop methods to connect to various systems and extract data.
• Identify, determine, and document requirements for data integrations, and assist in developing those integrations as needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, technical architects, and project managers, to ensure data migration aligns with business requirements
• Monitor data migration progress, identify and resolve issues, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of migrated data, and develop data reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to optimize data migration efficiency and effectiveness
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data migration processes, procedures, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer certification
• Proven experience in data migration, data integration, and data management projects, preferably in a consulting environment
• Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing principles
• Expertise in SQL programming, including advanced querying, data manipulation, and performance optimization techniques
• Proficiency in using data migration tools such as DBAmp, Talend, Postman, DataLoader, DataLoader.io, and various ETL solutions
• Experience with data quality management, including data profiling, cleansing, de-duplication, and validation techniques
• Knowledge of Salesforce data architecture, data migration best practices, and Salesforce data management tools
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git and GitHub
• Understanding of API integration, data mapping, and data transformation techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead data migration projects from planning to execution
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels

• Experience with data integration platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi (nice to have)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
