Job description for Offshore Structural Engineers

·        Min Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Civil) or ME / M.Tech from a reputed institute.

·        Experience: 6-14 years of experience in the design of fixed & floating offshore platforms in accordance with global industry practices.

Candidates shall have performed following analysis and design for all Off shore structures such as such as Jackets, Topside, Bridges, Flares & FPSO modules

Ø Global In-Place Analysis

Ø Spectral Fatigue Analysis

Ø Seismic / Dynamic Analysis

Ø Pre-Service Analysis for Load-Out, Transportation and Installation

Ø Float-Over Analysis

Ø Push-Over Analysis / Boat Impact Analysis

Ø Pile Driveability Analysis

Ø On-Bottom Stability Analysis

Ø Connection Design

Ø Software Knowledge (Mainly SACS, STAAD Pro, GRL WEAP, SESAM and ANSYS preferable)

Candidates should be well acquainted with API RP 2A, AISC-ASD, Norsok, ISO, Eurocodes and DNV recommendations.

Candidates shall be familiar with the interface requirements with other engineering disciplines to ensure the design comply with all the offshore platform requirements.

Candidates shall be a team player and shall possess good communication skills (verbal and written).
