Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Store In-Charge to manage all store operations efficiently, ensuring accurate inventory control, smooth material movement, and timely procurement to support our production and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecast demand and plan raw material requirements accurately.
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels with regular reporting.
- Receive and store materials systematically, ensuring proper labeling and placement.
- Inspect incoming materials for damages or discrepancies and coordinate with accounts for resolution.
- Raise material requisitions (MR) promptly and coordinate with the purchase team for follow-ups.
- Minimize stock-outs and avoid overstocking through proper planning.
- Identify potential supply chain bottlenecks and suggest preventive actions.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all receipts, issues, shortages, and dispatched materials.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.
- Oversee the outward movement of goods and ensure all related activities are well-managed.
- Ensure proper storage practices using stacking norms and FIFO/FEFO methods.
- Maintain 5S standards to ensure a clean and organized store environment.
- Train subordinates on new products and raw material handling procedures.
- Conduct monthly physical stock reconciliations and report variances.
- Supervise casual laborers and delegate tasks effectively.
- Schedule and track pending and upcoming orders.
- Coordinate with transporters for the timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Analyze demand trends and logistics data to forecast future needs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and team goals.
- Propose and implement cost-reduction strategies and supply chain efficiencies.
- Foster a positive and productive work culture within the store team.
Requirements:
- 2–4 years of experience in inventory/supply chain management
- Experience in a manufacturing setup (interior industry preferred)
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
