‘Software Support Engineer’

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You must be passionate about software development life cycle and skilled understanding the programming methods and basic knowledge of writing the python code will be added advantage (Exposure JavaScript and Python would be great).
• The candidate will be required to Design, Configure, Build, Test, Deploy and Maintain ERP product and python / frappe based applications will be added advantage.
• Knowledge of any ERP / CRM products will be an advantage. Knowledge of ERP Next will be the advantage.
• Gathering technical requirements from internal customers.
• Creation of functional and technical documentation of requirements.
• Supporting users for their functional and technical queries on a regular basis.
• Drive continuous improvement in development and operations best practices.
• Ability to convey complex information in both written and oral form to technical and non technical audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS:

Core qualifications:

• Graduate in IT stream like BCA, BE, IT technology equivalent preferred.
• Reasonably good in English.
• Self-Motivated and Proactive.
• Good interpersonal communication skills are needed in order to work successfully with prospects, customers, and cross-functional teams to meet timelines.
• Able to understand the business process.
• Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to follow standard engineering principles and practices.
• Creative approach to problem-solving.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented design and development skills.

Technical qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of JS, MySQL, Python & Frappe based web technologies.
• Basic knowledge of Scrum/Agile development methodologies but not mandatory.
• Basic of MySQL on MariaDB or equivalent
