Job Overview:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving the growth of the retail business within the assigned territory by building and managing a strong contractor/carpenter network and engaging key influencers. The role involves achieving defined commercial targets and ensuring the effective execution of market strategies and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement dealer-level plans to meet business objectives and proactively drive target achievement.
- Expand the contractor network by onboarding new contractors and increasing engagement levels.
- Address and resolve contractor queries promptly to maintain strong and productive relationships.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely availability of products, services, and promotional materials for contractors.
- Conduct Mini Carpenter Meets (MCMs) to support secondary sales initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term business growth.
- Provide senior management with detailed sales reports and market analysis, along with strategic recommendations for growth.
- Manage the complete sales cycle—from prospecting to successful closure.
- Prepare and submit regular performance reports and client interaction updates.
- Utilize CRM tools and Microsoft Excel for data management, tracking, and analysis.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum Graduate.
- At least 1 year of experience in the plywood, hardware, laminate, or adhesive industry.
- Strong understanding of the local market and established contractor/carpenter network.
- Proficiency in the regional language.
- Willingness to travel and work across different locations within the state.
- Experience in dealer network management and contractor/carpenter influencer programs is an added advantage.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage commercial objectives.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Excel.
Candidate Background Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have solid retail channel and trade sales experience (1–2 years), preferably in hardware, plywood, or laminate industries.

- Strong connections within the retail and distributor/trade channels.
- Experience in lead generation through contractors, carpenters, and retail counters.
- A deep understanding of local market dynamics and dealer/distributor management.
