Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute monthly and annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
  • Support PAN India teams with essential maintenance operations.
  • Maintain and verify PM checklists for all branches on a monthly basis.
  • Attend and troubleshoot emergency breakdowns and diagnose mechanical/electrical faults.
  • Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment (electrical and mechanical).
  • Provide technical training and support to production teams for new machinery.
  • Coordinate with service vendors, follow up on work completion, and maintain service documentation.
  • Ensure proper documentation and submission of BESCOM records, compliance reports, and support plant inspections.
  • Manage spares inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
  • Collaborate with the purchase and quality departments to maintain standards for spare parts and consumables.
  • Handle system-generated purchase requisitions, raise POs, and obtain required HOD approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with PCB (Pollution Control Board) norms and assist third-party vendors during inspections.
  • Manage DG changeover activities and monitor diesel fuel consumption for uninterrupted power supply.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to factory regulatory certification initiatives (like ISO) and drive implementation measures.
  • Monitor and record daily plant power consumption, and submit monthly energy reports to management.
  • Plan and assign tasks to contract-level maintenance workers.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and performance standards.
  • Maintain and ensure availability of all required tools and testing equipment for routine and emergency use.
