Maintenance Engineer Job Description:-

Maintenance engineers are responsible for the installation and maintenance in the manufacturing industry, and need to attend the routine issues at on-site to resolve

• Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
• Responding to the breakdowns
• Maintaining statistical and financial records
• Managing stocks of supplies and equipment.
• Removing old equipment and installing new machines and Parts.
• Providing technical support and training on new equipment to supporting staff.
• Attending with emergency problems and repairs.
• Inspecting machines and updating the checklist on day to day
• Statutory Compliance requirements & Reports Generation.
• Support Preventive Maintenance initiatives to achieve a plant facility.
• Ensure documentation and systems work order/PO processes etc to be maintained.
• Completes all routine maintenance activities associated with the fire protection system/Electrical Dept including conducting annual inspections and testing of the system
• Performs miscellaneous minor repairs
• Follow ups with the service vendors
• Attending review meetings with the reporting heads
