- Plan and oversee material movement through Production cycle.
- Identify material requirements from production and engineering cycles.
- Handle material movement with purchasing, production and engineering.
- Manage Policies, procedures and material control systems.
- Asses and plan purchasing materials requirements.
- Develop material requirements plans on automated computer system like SAP, ERP etc.
- Analyze price proposals and financial reports to identify reasonable prices.
- Control inventory levels and ensure availability of material during emergencies.
- Maintain good relationships and negotiate with suppliers.
- Keep detailed records on procurement activity, materials quality, specifications etc.
- Assist in forecasting to plan future orders.
