𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞: Sr. Technical Writer

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞: 3 years in technical writing (software or hardware industry)

𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Hyderabad (Open to candidates from other locations)

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:

• We are looking for a motivated and innovative candidate to join our team. Responsibilities to develop and maintain documentation include:
• · Gather information using prototype software, technical specifications, feature demos, and by working with developers and applications engineers.
• · Plan, write, update, and deliver user documentation products including release notes, user guides, reference manuals, application    notes, and tutorials.
• · Interact with product teams and other technical writers.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:

• · Must have at least 2-4 years technical writing experience in software or hardware industry
• · Ability to understand and write complex technical concepts for a technical audience (engineers and scientists).
• · Thorough understanding of technical writing processes.
• · Experience communicating with non-native English speakers.
• · Experience with the semiconductor microprocessor industry or software tools for the microprocessors: compilers/debuggers/SDKs.
• · Working knowledge of DITA and Adobe FrameMaker
• · Working knowledge of ReStructured Text (ReST)/Markdown and Sphinx/LaTeX infrastructure.
• · Experience in developer documentation and DevOps
• · Working knowledge of JSON/HTML usage in technical writing.
• · Experience with GitLab/GitHub.

𝐀𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝

• · Good to have: Understand python code to extend/support Sphinx infrastructure
• · Experience with defect tracking systems, such as Jira.
• · Functional knowledge of Linux or UNIX.
• · Familiarity with standard style guides and their recommendations.
