Role Overview

We are seeking a poised, polished, and customer-focused Hostess to be the face of Canvas. As the first point of contact, the Hostess will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and memorable first impression for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.

Manage reservations and walk-in guests using the reservation system.

Escort guests to their tables and coordinate with service staff for smooth seating.

Maintain an organized waitlist and manage guest flow during peak hours.

Provide accurate information on menu offerings, events, and promotions.

Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns with grace and efficiency.

Uphold the brand's upscale image through excellent grooming, etiquette, and communication.

Collaborate with the management and service team to ensure seamless guest experience.

Requirements

Proven experience as a hostess/front-of-house associate in fine dining, luxury hotels, or premium resto-bars.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Professional appearance and grooming standards in line with an upscale environment.

Ability to remain calm, composed, and courteous in high-pressure situations.

Familiarity with reservation systems and basic POS software preferred.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
