Sr. Executive - Vendor Management and Procurement
The Senior Executive - Vendor Management and Procurement is responsible for managing the end-to-end vendor management process, ensuring effective sourcing, onboarding, and monitoring of vendors for all electrical contracting and facility management projects. This role demands comprehensive market research to identify new vendor opportunities, strong negotiation skills, and in-depth pricing analysis to ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Market Research & Sourcing:
- Conduct extensive market research to identify and evaluate potential vendors across various categories of supply materials for electrical contracting and facility management services.
- Build and maintain a database of qualified suppliers and service providers for electrical components, tools, machinery, maintenance supplies, and facility management needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and supplier innovations to drive sourcing strategies.
New Vendor Onboarding:
- Lead the vendor selection and qualification process, ensuring compliance with the company's standards and policies.
- Coordinate due diligence activities, including background checks, certifications, and compliance verifications of potential vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with new vendors, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Develop and implement a structured vendor onboarding process to ensure smooth integration.
Vendor Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews, including quality, delivery timelines, and service consistency.
- Ensure vendors adhere to agreed-upon terms, pricing structures, and quality requirements.
Pricing Analysis:
- Analyze pricing trends and conduct cost comparisons for all categories of supply materials, including electrical components, consumables, maintenance supplies, and other facility management-related materials.
- Continuously monitor the market for cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality.
Contract Management & Compliance:
- Draft, review, and manage vendor contracts and agreements, ensuring all legal and operational aspects are covered.
- Monitor vendor compliance with contractual obligations, including delivery schedules, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all procurement activities are aligned with the company's financial and operational goals.
