Job Description: 	 	 techniques 	 	 Experience: More than 6 months                                                               Location: Mahadevpura, Bangalore 	 	   Assessing patients and their clinical requirements to determine appropriate radiographic 	 	   Performing a range of radiographic examinations on patients to produce high-quality images; 	   Observing and maintaining contact with patients during their waiting, examination and post-	 	 examination stay in the department. 	 	   Assisting in more complex radiological examinations working with radiologists and doctors and 	 	   Providing support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and 	 	 surgeons. 	 	 psychological needs. 	 	   Recording imaging identification and patient documentation quickly and accurately and 	 	 observing protocols to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act and patient 	 confidentiality. 	 	   Understanding and observing health and safety at work and welfare issues, including ionizing 	 	 radiation regulations, to protect yourself and others. 	 	   Ensuring that equipment is regularly checked for malfunctions and any faults are reported. 	   Responding to telephone enquiries relating to patients, lab requests, x-rays, prescription 	 	 requests etc. 	 	   Co-ordinating appointments for specialist referrals, x-rays lab testing, etc. and conveying 	 	 pertinent instructions and information to the patient. 	 	   Completing and co-ordinating consent forms and day sheets. 	   Performing other related duties within the clinic as may be assigned. 	 	 Activities :  	 	 Loads x-ray film cassettes.  	 	  	   Takes radiographs.  	   Develops, fixes, washes, dries, and files x-ray film.  	   Prepares solutions.  	   Requisitions supplies and materials.  	 	   Keeps records of x-ray film, unit activities, and related records. Assists in the 	 	 care and maintenance of x-ray equipment.  	 	   Assists in scheduling and arranging for x-ray clinics.
