Job Summary: MEP Engineer

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced MEP Engineer (Civil) to oversee and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing aspects of large-scale civil construction projects. The ideal candidate should have 8–10 years of experience in planning, design review, execution, coordination, and quality assurance of MEP systems integrated with civil structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and understand MEP drawings, specifications, BOQs, and civil interface requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all MEP works with the structural and architectural teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical systems, firefighting, plumbing, drainage, and lifts in compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors for design, procurement, and execution activities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to design.
• Identify and resolve any MEP-related clashes or interface issues with civil and finishing works.
• Monitor project progress, submit regular reports, and ensure timely delivery of MEP works within allocated budgets.
• Verify and validate as-built drawings, method statements, and operation & maintenance manuals.
• Assist in value engineering, energy efficiency, and system optimization efforts.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, building regulations, and green building guidelines where applicable.

Required Skills:

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in civil projects.
• Hands-on experience in construction site execution, MEP coordination, and project management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Office, and project scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera).
• Familiarity with IS codes, NBC norms, and local authority standards.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or MEP-related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in MEP coordination and execution within civil engineering projects.
• Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, or infrastructure projects.
